Chocoate mousse - what can I say its just like choc mousse and a good sugar rush. Bought quite a few of these freeze dried meals recently and am now a convert. If going for a trek over a couple of days I always bring these due to their light weight. Excellent for all those sugar lovers out there.

Mouse au chocolate. Well I spent all day walking through a forest near Snowdonia covered in mud very unpleasant. Then when I got to the campsite I was eaten alive buy midges etc. Anyway when I finally pitched my tent had my evening meal the desert the mouse au chocolate with cold water was just what I needed to lift my spirits up very chocolaty nice thick mouse flavour. I have been told you can eat it with hot water!. I’m yet to try that. All in all I can highly recommend it if you like chocolate!! Enjoy

On a recent snowy trip tried the vanilla pud with raspberries and it was alright; used warm water and the dessert sprang to life as a tasty custard tasting treat (with lumps!) - just right for an after dinner calorific pudding - would have again.

All are very palatable for freeze dried food but my personal favourite is Mousse au Chocolat which seems satisfies a need for chocolate but is not too sweet and sticky! Surprisingly they all seem to taste equally nice hot or cold and the more savoury combinations taste good for breakfast. Best eaten with a spoon not a spork and remember to open out the packaging after you have eaten it all to visit the final few corners that hide from your spoon.
