Suunto Warranty information
Your Suunto Wrist Top Computer is covered by a 2 year warranty.
From Suunto.com - ' If this product should fail due to defects in materials or workmanship, Suunto Oy will, at its sole option, repair or replace it with new or rebuilt parts, free of charge, for two (2) year from the date of its purchase. This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser and only covers failures due to defects in materials and workmanship that occur during normal use while in the period of the warranty. It does not cover battery replacement, damage or failures resulting in accident, misuse, neglect, mishandling, alteration or modifications of the product, or any failure caused by operation of the product outside the scope of its published specifications, or any causes not covered by this warranty.'
If your watch malfunctions you need to register your wrist top at Suunto.com to validate the warranty and then you can request a service. Suunto pick the watch up from you, service it and return it straight to you. Please see suunto.com for full details
If your warranty has expired or been invalidated then you can request a service in the same way but need to include payment details to cover the cost of repair.
In the past only Suunto dealers could organise repairs but as of Jan 07 it's now all done direct between the user and Suunto.
In addition to your warranty Suunto UK (Amer sports) have provided a 24 hour Suunto help desk. This is a UK number 01294 316201, which is manned 24 hours a day by someone who can help with any Suunto issues.
