The Suunto Quest is a training watch designed for those whose exercise takes place in the great outdoors. The Quest is designed to combine the training and motivational features of the M series watches with the rugged look and construction of the Outdoor series.
The core feature of the Quest is its heart rate monitor which uses Suunto's dual comfort belt, compatible with the watch and gym equipment, to provide real time heart rate and calorie data as well as allowing you to define heart rate zones and limits to tailor your training intensity. Workouts are recorded and can be uploaded to Suunto's Movescount website for analysis and to share your workouts with others.
The Quest comes complete with the Movestick Mini and is compatible with all other Suunto's PODs. The PODs give further information on speed, distance and cadence whilst on the move. The PODs can be bought separately (see Related Products below) but we also offer a package of the Black Quest with the foot pod mini, the ideal combination for trail and fell runners.
The watch is considerably more rugged than the M series watches with raised bezel to protect the screen and chunky, glove compatible buttons. This is the ideal partner for fell runners, mountain bikers and adventure racers who take their training seriously.

I purchased the Suunto quest basically for tracking my distance when out running but did not realise that you had to buy the foot pod separately at a cost of £75. The watch it self is relatively easy to set up although the instructions are not that clear, I ended up going on youtube and set mine up by watching the videos.
The watch it self has some good features but to be honest what I use it for would have went for a more simple and cheaper model. The strap is already starting to show signs of wear. The duel belt I have used only a couple of times and found it hard to understand the data.

Received the Suunto Quest in the post yesterday (very prompt delivery by Facewest)and am very happy with it so far. I plan on using it for running so it has all the features I need. Heart rate monitor works very well and also connects to equipment at the gym which is a great feature. The watch looks great and could easily be worn as an everyday watch as it is not as big and chunky as some other heart rate monitors on the market. looking forward to purchasing the Footpod so I can really using all the features on the watch.

I bought this watch as a present for my boyfriend. He wanted a sports watch and had been looking at the Suunto Core Black. When I researched various Suunto watches I liked the look of this one because of its capabilities. I was concerned about the look but bit the bullet and bought the orange and black one. It looks great on and the figures on the screen are really easy to read and its easy to use. We also bought the foot pod and the bike pod to go with it and they are working out great. The only downside is that it has so many features it's hard to use it to its full potential without spending a few hours playing with it and looking at the online features. I would highly recommend it.
