The Suunto Road Bike POD turns your T series Suunto heart rate monitor (t3, t4, t6, Quest or M5) into a wireless bike computer. Current and average speeds combined with distance and interval alarms make sessions in the saddle more fun and productive. Its integrated quick-release design is optimized for high-performance road riding.
The Road Bike POD also includes a handle bar mount for your watch, so the display is always in front of you.
Suunto Road Bike POD is compatible with Suunto t3, Suunto t4 and Suunto t6 heart rate monitors.

I purchased Bike Pod as an add-on to my Suunto T6d. Installation worked as described. Just make sure that the pod is close enough to the magnet (I had problems with speed data reading until I fixed the issue).
Overall, the pod works as expected. It is interesting to compare my speed vs. altitude changes or my heart rate after the training. I also can track the total distance and average speed. Thus, I am copletely satisfied with the purchase.
Another thing, which I like about this pod, is that it requires no wires from the handle bar to the wheel sensor.

I already had the standard bike pod on a hybrid bike, and invested in this for my road bike to go with my T6. I'm glad I did - it works very effectively, its very unobtrusive, and the battery life has been excellent. The quality of the skewer is great, and the sensor seems very robust. No problem with pairing either. Am very pleased with this.

I have a T3C that I use for training and running, and recently bought a full carbon roadbike. I decided to buy this bike pod for compatibility with my existing training computer and to my surprise its actually made by Mavic and almost as light as the titanium QR supplied.. Works perfectly, requires no unsightly cable ties and mounts on the bike, and the info it logs gives adds to my training plans. love the suunto pods!

Bought this to use with my suunto T3 training watch and road bike. Was unsure about replacing my front skewer but it's made by Mavic so turned out to be a high quality replacement. Works really well, turning on and synching with the watch after a few turns of the wheel. Only downside is that it can't be used for turbo training whereas the other type of bike pod could but overall I am very please with it.
