The Smartwool Womens Midweight Zip T has been constructed using Smartwools heaviest baselayer wool. The deep 20.5cm chest zip provides the versatility to be able to cool down should you be getting too warm. Making this the perfect baselayer for cold weather workouts on the mountain from skiing through to alpine climbing.

The Midweight Zip T is a close fitting merino baselayer that constructed with flatlock seams for comfort. The shoulders have their own panels ensuring there are no seams to rub and cause chafing, especially good it you're carrying a pack. Longer sleeves come right down over the wrists preventing cold spots.

I have just under a dozen of baselaysers, some synthetic and different weight merino wool from Smartwool and from a major competitor. But this is my favourite! I find the Smartwool one the softest (softer than the major competitor) and not itchy at all. I prefer the feel of soft merino wool next to my skin than the cold synthetic material. The fit is also the best. I am quite slim and between a 6 & 8 and this in size 8 fits perfect. The only improvement I could think of is if they can have a version with thumb hole and this will make this baselayer perfect! I am a totally converted Smartwool fan!
