The Smartwool Womens Midweight Crew is the warmest baselayer from Smartwool, ideal for those really cold days on the mountain or walking in the fells.

The Midweight Crew is a close fitting merino baselayer that is constructed with flatlock seams for comfort. The shoulders have their own panels ensuring there are no seams to rub and cause chafing, especially good if you're carrying a pack. Longer sleeves come right down over the wrists preventing cold spots.

NTS, Next-To-Skin, garments are Smartwool's top of the range baselayers for outdoor sports. They feature highly breathable merino wool fabric with flatlocked seam construction, suede labelling and silk trim for maximum comfort even on sensitive skin. This creates a garment which is machine wash and dry-able and itch free yet incredibly breathable to keep you warm, dry and comfortable even when you're out training in the bitter cold.

I bought a Smartwool Midweight Crew together with a Smartwool Midweight Boot Top Bottom recently and by now both of them have become my second skin! I wear them all day long in Edinburgh where I live and not only when I am in outdoor activities. Midweight Crew by Smartwool is an extraordinary piece of baselayer! It is always soft, never itchy, breathable and very warm; can be machine washed & dried. I love the close (but not compression) fit as the air circulates but not constricting. Strongly recommended!
