The Smartwool TML Mid Half Zip is a Thermal Mid Layer and is designed to compliment your Smartwool NTS baselayer, offering a versatile midalyer that ensures warmth without bulk. Though in really cold conditions the TML Mid could easily be used as a super warm baselayer providing maximum insulation. Ideal for ski tours and alpine routes when flexibility and breathability is key.
The Semi-Form fit of the TML Half Zip provides a close but not tight fitting midlayer with a deep 38cm zip that allows you to vent. The arms have been formed with articulated elbows and the finished with with thumb-loops that will hold the sleeve and provide protection to the back of your hand. A handy zipped pocket on the chest is reinforced with Durawelt.
TML is made from 64% merino wool, providing the warmth and comfort. The reamainder of the weave is 36% Nylon providing strength and durability to the garment.
The wool used in this garment is 100% Merino, which is probably the best fabric to use in cold environments especially when worn next to the skin. Read more about the benefits of merino wool.
