The Smartwool Lightweight Bottom provide all day warmth and comfort without restriction, they are perfect for those winter sports where you will be working hard and are ideal for skiing or winter climbing. A Coats Eloflex thread at the foot provides durability and a snug fit. And around the waist hem is an embossed logo waist band that is smooth to prevent any rubbing and will hold them in place.
Smartwool NTS Garments:
NTS, Next-To-Skin, garments are Smartwool's top of the range baselayers for outdoor sports. They feature highly breathable merino wool fabric with flatlocked seam construction, suede labelling and silk trim for maximum comfort even on sensitive skin. This creates a garment which is machine wash and dry-able and itch free yet incredibly breathable to keep you warm, dry and comfortable even when you're out training in the bitter cold.
100% Merino Smartwool

I have size L and it seems to be somewhat bigger/more roomy than the Smart Wool Micro light versions that I have also. These are having more visible seams also so looks more as normal Long Johns. But no complaints. The waist band is now more sophisticated. In Micro ones I had the rubberband got twisted easily. In this they fixed it.
