The Sealskinz Winter Cycle Glove provides the serious biker with complete waterproof coverage and insulation for those winter days on the road or trails.

Gel pads are positioned on the palm of the glove to ensure maximum comfort over rough terrain. While silicon grips to the index, middle finger and thumb ensure you keep control, even when things are really wet. The extended cuff with Velcro closure provides extra warmth and protection on those grim days.

The Winter Cycle Glove was previously the Mountain Bike Glove.

As well as cycling I am using these for sea kayaking and microlighting. Not waterproof enough for sea kayaking really but I prefer them to neoprene gloves and they are better than bare hands in this weather.

The palm pads grip well for handlebars, paddles and microlight bar and the finger pads mean I can adjust radio settings without removing the gloves. The clip to hold them together when not in use is useful as I have lost so many single gloves now on trips. For the price they seem good value (you can pay an awful lot for gloves that get left behind easily!)

I purchased these after positive review from my Mother who had a pair, lost one and intended to replace them as they were the best cycling gloves she has ever owned. These gloves are very comfy and functional. Grippy digit pads on index and middle fingers are useful and nose wiping strips for both hands a bonus (unless you share gloves with another). As with all sealskin products they're not as waterproof as they claim. I also think that a greater area of reflectivity would be a bonus.

On the whole a very good pair of gloves for winter or damp weather cycling but don't rely on them to show the way when you're indicating.
