The Red Chili Habanero is a precision lace up shoe from this renowned German climbing shoe manufacturer. Designed to provide the sport or trad climber with a new level of precision and a touch of style.
The low profile toe is turned into a slight toe down position that is not too aggressive and combined with the sensitive mid-sole you have a real precision in the toe box of the shoe. On top of the toe box is a rubber patch that allows for improved toe locks with the benefit of adding longevity to your shoe. Your foot will be pushed firmly forward by the tensioned slingshot heel and secured by the fast fitting lacing system. The Habanero must be a contender for one of the best technical all round climbing shoes on the market today.

I’ve been using these shoes for about 2 weeks now and have so far found them to be very confidence inspiring but perhaps without the feel of my old mad rocks. They have good edging ability and provide a strong stable platform but I have found the rubber seems to wear quite quickly, strange for a hard shoe.
Saying this they have bags of grip when smearing and will find the smallest dimple and stick fast.

Recent addition to my climbing gear, relatively new shoe but a very good shoe with not too much of an aggressive heel but still good enough to get those heel hooks or balance on it. The edges are sharp and precise took them brand new to the sport climbing paradise in Kalmynos and they served the job well. The sole stands up well to sea cliffs with sharp rock and are very comfy to wear while climbing or belaying depending how tight you lace them.
Very good shoe the best I’ve bought in my climbing career.
