Raidlight Trail Poles are a superlight trail running pole. Designed to keep weight to the bare minimum, Raidlight have used high quality materials, such as Ziclar and Kevlar to produce a folding, easy to use pole.

When used correctly, trail poles transfer some of the stresses and strains placed on the legs onto the upper body. For fell and trail runners who regularly run long distances with sustained ascents, these poles are an excellent bit of kit. Due to their super light construction the Trail Poles are designed to be more of a climbing aid rather than a descending aid.

Raidlight Trail Pole features:

  • Comfortable 3D mesh handles
  • Wrist straps
  • Carbon tip
  • Fold down to 30cm long
  • Available in 2 lengths - 110cm and 123cm
  • Weight - (110cm)90g - (123cm)120g

Reviewer: Russell Thomas, BEN RHYDDING   (7-5-2012)

Bought these for use on UTMB primarily - having spent 3 years of gut wrenching agony amassing the points even I was prepared to fork out £90!

Have now used on 2012 Rombalds, Haworth Hobble and Fellsman, my verdict ... BLOODY BRILLIANT - I am not that strong up big hills and these make it so more efficient for me, a deffo 10 out of 10!

They do look a bit flimsy hence why they weigh so little but I can assure you that after having endured me stumbling and grovelling through the horrors of the 2012 Fellsman night they will cope with anything that I am ever likely to see.

Their next challenge - Bob Graham ... well if Stuart can use poles then so can this lesser mortal!
