Rab PS Zip Top

The Rab PS Zip Top is a highly breathable close fitting layer that provides a much greater level of insulation and wind resistance than Micro fleece. It is a favourite amongst those that are active as it provides an unrestricted fit allowing you to work hard as well as offering great versatility and durability.
Polartec Power Stretch fabric is principally a four way stretch fabric that hugs the body and is made of two layers. The outer durable layer has a smooth finish and offers good wind resistance, while the soft inner layer wicks moisture quickly keeping you dry and warm. The great thing about Power stretch is that it can be worn as a super warm baselayer, as a insulating midlayer or as a wind resistant outer layer.

Rab PS Zip Top is just another outstanding piece of kit from Rab. It is close fitting, mid weight power stretch top, nice and warm, comfortable and does not restrict movement. It could be worn either as mid layer or base layer underneath a wind stopper or hard shell in cold conditions.
It has realy long sleeves with a thumb holes. Another good thing is that you don't need to take it off when it gets hot as the deep front zip provided great ventilation. This top is worth the cost and I would recommend it to anyone who asks.

This is the perfect winter base-layer! And it also gets some use up here on the Scottish hills in spring and autumn too!
Nice long arms with thumb loops, a scooped back to keep your bum warm and a deep chest zip for venting control added to the figure-hugging breathable Powerstretch fit makes this the perfect next-to-skin layer for those cooler days on the hill. Those who run hot might find this a little too warm except for those very cold days - you may want to consider a lightweight merino, Parameta or LIFA base layer instead. But for the rest of us, often copied but never matched, the Rab PS top is the one to get!

Love this top, practically live in it and is honestly one of my most used bits of kit. Use it mostly as a mid/outer layer, but have used it also as a super warm baselayer due to the tight fitting nature of Powerstretch. Main zip is much longer than usual fleece tops which s great for temperature control. I find the thumb loops are a great addition especially when running, or when wearing gloves thus reducing any cold spots. Will be buying another when this one gives up!

A really good Powerstretch top, I use mine for running when it’s very cold and as a warm layer when ski touring. The chest pockets is a handy addition for a key or to keep batteries warm in. The sleeves are a good length and the thumb hooks are amazing in cold weather. With the pocket, longer sleeves and deeper chest zip it is a bit heavier than some other Powerstretch tops but the small weight addition is well worth it for a better design. It is very flexible and comfortable to wear.
