Rab Mummy Silk Liner

The Rab Mummy Silk Liner is a great way to extend the lifespan and the versatility of your sleeping bag. Silk liners are far smaller and lighter than cheaper alternatives such as cotton and so are ideal for backpackers, trekkers and mountaineers who'll appreciate the difference in their pack during the day as well as when night falls.
A liner will help to keep your expensive sleeping bag free from dirt and grime, reducing the frequency of cleaning. It also has the benefit of adding up to a further 2°C to the warmth of your sleeping bag. Plus in the case of silk a luxurious touch of comfort from the soft fabric.
A sleeping bag liner is also a must have for the ski tourer or alpinist. It takes away the itch factor when using WWII blankets in French huts and to have one is compulsory in Swiss Alpine Club Huts.

Without doubt the best bit of sleeping kit I have bought!
The comfort this provides is above and beyond any cotton liner available. It slides perfectly over skin and clothing and even when you're a bit damp getting into the sleeping bag, its stays comfortable. The warmth is brilliant, in certain conditions I’ve been able to wear this alone without a sleeping bag. When its been cold, this has complimented my down bag perfectly and given me that little edge I needed to stay warm. The weight is brilliant, super lightweight and easy to stuff into a drybag.
The price may seem steep, but once you’ve bought the one, your set for as long as it lasts really, and mines been going a while!
My only slight niggle is that it does smell after a few uses, but if you wash it regularly after trips this shouldn’t be an issue. Worth the dollar though!
