5 Perfect for winter cycling.

Although not specifically a cycling glove, after my hands got thoroughly drenched and freezing cold on a long ride recently I decided to splash out on some proper waterproof gloves and after being very impressed by my Rab eVent jacket I decided to give these a go and found them to be excellent.

They're very comfortable both in the way they fit and are neither too hot or too cold and don't leave my hands sweaty or clammy like other gloves have done in the past. The eVent fabric is also excellent at shedding water as you'd expect.

The grippy palms and fingers work well with the brake levers and they're not overly bulky so changing gear with Shimano STI levers is a doddle after the first few goes while you get a feel for it.

The only criticism I can think of is it's not particularly comfortable to wear a watch under them so I don't bother and just use the clock on my bike computer.

All in all a very worthy addition to any cyclist's winter wardrobe.

5 Rab Latok Glove Review

Warmer than I was expecting! Even when in contact with snow for extended periods of time the gloves are very good at keeping the cold out. In my opinion the silicone grip on the palm is far better than leather and you get a far better level of feedback/response when gripping tools/axes. I was expecting to have to combine these with some form of mitt for extended use in -0°C, but I found that the Latok Glove was perfectly adequate.
