The Rab Hooded Mummy Cotton Liner has been shaped for use with a technical modern sleeping bag including the hood.. It's a really good idea to use a liner bag inside a sleeping bag as it'll help protect against grime and dirt and save you having to clean your bag regularly. Adding a hood further protects your sleeping bag from oils and moisture from your hair and face keeping your cowl in tip-top condition. Another benefit is that a liner bag will add up to a further 2°C to the warmth of your bag, which could mean the difference between a good and bad night during the colder months.

Cotton liners are bulkier and heavier than silk alternatives and also add less warmth but they're a great value way to increase the lifespan of your sleeping bag.

A sleeping bag liner is also a must have for the ski tourer or alpinist. It takes away the itch factor when using WWII blankets in French huts and to have one is compulsory in Swiss Alpine Club Huts.
