The Primus Litech Trek Kettle is the perfect size for the solo backpacker or adventure racer, it's light compact and very durable.
Litech is an ultra-lightweight, hard anodised aluminium, with a surface harder than stainless steel. It has a non stick finish for cooking. Litech also has an extremely even surface, with very shallow pores so there is little space for bacteria and dirt to collect in. Making it more hygienic than ordinary cookware and easier to clean.
Compact 1 L pot with lid designed for easy straining (great for pasta). The perfect little pot for solo missions or dehydrated food. The folding handles are protected from getting too hot.

I’ve already had the POCKET ROCKET GAS STOVE by MSR, and I was looking for a small pot for my solo adventures. So, I ordered the KETTLE pot, as I saw that it was in the right size for my stove. It is very light, and you can use the lid as a little frying pan, to fry an egg for example (this is very funny)! Inside the pot, you can put a 220g or 125g gas cylinder. And, yes I agree with my friend Lars-Petter, it is too small for winter adventures (melting snow), because you will burn a lot of gas to make some water.

I bought the kettle with the TechnoTrail gas stove and both the stove and a gas cartridge with a Primus windscreen fit inside the kettle perfectly. I have used it for over 3 years and it's still one of my best pieces of equipment. It's quite tough and the Ti non-stick coating is very durable and of course very easy to clean. The coating shows signs of wear, but considering the heavy usage, it's minimal. The size is just enough for 2 persons or as a secondary pot for bigger groups. I have used it as much on open fire as on stoves and the only damage by fire has been the burnt rubber coatings on the handles, which I peeled right off and haven't missed them since.
The only weakness is the small size of the pan. I've only used it to cook some smaller perch and can't imagine to fit anything else onto it. You can use a piece of tin foil instead of it if you need to save some weight.
The kettle's strongest sides are the durable Ti-coating and the size, fitting a gas cartridge perfectly.

I bought this little pot for trips of several days in the mountains alone, but if you eat dehydrated foods is also perfect for two people.
Folding handles are tight, comfortable to use even with gloves. I can put inside an Optimus Crux, a gas cylinder 220g, lighter, collapsible cup and a spoon.
In a small space, I have everything I need for cooking. I appreciated the convenient spout. Has a good stability on the stove with the knurled bottom.
Very easy to clean and light to carry. The only down side: the pan is not very large and the pot is not graded.

This kettle was purchased for solo adventures, and as coffee kettle on day hikes. For the solo adventurer, this kettle is great: Easy to clean, lightweight, durable, and I'm able to store my Primus Micron and a standard gas canister inside.
Not a good choice for winter hikes where snow melting is required (too small).
