Most things have been said about this product except that it really does keep liquids very hot for 5/6 hours, not the one or two mentioned by some - all you have to do is put boiling water into the mug prior to filling with your favourite drink, and pop the lid on. Leave it for as long as practical (say minimum 3 minutes)and immediately replace with your boiling drink. This way just try to drink it after a couple of hours and you'll have burns!

I purchased this mug for my commute to and from work. It is a quality item, keeping the contents hot for a considerable time. It fits perfectly into the mug holder in my car and I am quite sure will never spill a drop as once the lid is secured there is a perfect seal. I would happily recommend this product to anyone. Did a fair bit of research into the mugs as I wanted one that would retain the heat as much as possible over a period of time. In hindsight perhaps I should have spent the extra money and bought the stainless steel version as the heat only seems to last an hour or so and then cools quite quickly. That being said the push button mouthpiece/seal is excellent and I've had no problems with the cup leaking so all in all reasonably pleased with the purchase.

A great piece of kit for my morning run-cycling-swim-commute as it holds its temperature well - it really rises to the challenge and is completely leak free.

It’s strong and durable and takes a good pounding when I get a bit carried away, but finish has worn although I’m not surprised.

Great item there’s not another like it.

Pretty good, only used in warm climates so far, but found it kept my tea warm for at least an hour. probably 90mins or so if you leave it closed (don't keep sipping it!).

The print has started to come off mine, not sure if it's a result of them sitting in sweltering temperatures or the result of being washed aggressively by the Mrs, but it's not of any real concern, except it made my fingers all sticky.

Great mug. I have both the plastic and stainless ones. These keep the liquid hot for a sensible amount of time and allows the contents to be drunk after 1-2 hours, whereas the stainless contents can still be undrinkable as too hot after 5-6 hours! The best seal, moulded/drip free mouth piece and leak free drinking valve bar none! First class piece of kit.

I've been looking for a mug for my morning commute for ages and this one finally fits the bill. The lid seals perfectly, no drips or leaks even when you shake it upside down, so no need to worry about holding it upright (wouldn't believe how difficult this seemingly essential component of a commuter mug has been to find!).
It's also easy to drink from - just click the red button to open and click to close again. It keeps coffee hot enough to enjoy for about an hour, long enough for my commute. I would've given it 5 stars if it kept drinks hot longer and didn't have a slightly wobbly bottom!

I have recently purchased the Primus Commuter Mug which I use on a daily basis, the only gripe I have with it is that it does not keep the contents hot for any longer than half an hour or so.
I did read the review left on here prior to buying the mug which stated that it kept liquids hot for a couple of hours, so I am at a loss as to why mine does not stay hot for very long.
Other than this the mug is leakproof and the push button system works very well.

If your looking to find a mug that that one can carry in your rucksack with confidence and not find your school/work books and other items moist with coffee then this item will not disappoint.
The other plus is it does actually keep your hot coffee hot for a couple of hours to allow you to sip away through the neat moulded lip top.A tip after washing is to press the button and blow around the top to ensure dryness.
The only observation of slight concern is the base on the mug i have is not entirely flat , which means a slight wobble if touched nothing to worry though.
Enjoy your brew wherever you take it.
