Petzl Charlet Snowscopic Axe/Pole £85.00

For many trips a lot of people would like to have an axe and a walking pole for use across varied terrain. Much has been said about the problems caused by using poles to aid grip long after it would have been prudent to deploy your axe, because a pole has no self arrest potential. To combine these 2 tools and cut down on weight Petzl Charlet have produced the Snowscopic. A lightweight walking axe combined with a telescopic walking pole shaft and tip.
