The Outdoor Designs Silkon Glove is a great lightweight baselayer glove that provides additional warmth without increasing bulk and impairing dexterity. They are ideal for for ski touring and mountaineering and can be packed away into an almost negligible space.

The box finger construction combined with the seamless palm ensures that the Silkon is comfortable to wear, while the ribbed cuff holds them neatly in place. Silk fabric has exceptional thermal properties for its weight and adventure racers may well consider these as part of their kit.

I purchased these gloves to be liners for underneath my mitts. They are great as they are warm even when just worn on their worn and a nice size to always have in my pocket.

I've had gloves identical to this for a few years, but the fingertips finally wore out beyond repair. Replaced with these - they're cheap, light, warm, comfortable and the slick finish makes layering very easy.

A very useful addition to make a comfortable option almost always achievable. Don't expect them to last long if used on their own for fiddly things (ski boot clips, Velcro tabs etc.) but well worth having.

Best value liner glove that I have come across. Any silk glove invariably takes a beating if you are handling Velcro etc, but the warmth is worth it. Expect about a season's use if you are reasonably careful with them.

I like this pair of gloves very much, this really works when you set up your tent in freezing conditions. Very soft and breathes well. I like to wear this, under my mitts when temperature drops down, so I can easily handle (removing mitts) my GPS unit or a bottle and a cup of tea. Generally, I wear the large size in gloves, but if you want to use the SILKON pair under your mitts, get a smaller size.

For their price these are a great pair of running gloves. Price is great for what you get and you could end up paying a least a few pounds more for a similar product marketed as a runners glove.

Feels nice against the skin and breathes well so plenty of temperature control.

With the four sizes I found the perfect fit and keep a pair in my training pack over the cooler months.

So good I have bought two pairs!
