The Ortovox 185 Womens Long Sleeve Top is a midweight baselayer top designed for cold climates. The merino wool construction breathes exceptionally well so even when you're slogging uphill you'll stay comfortable. This is a great top for skiing, ski touring and winter mountaineering as it offers great temperature regulation, wicking and next-to-skin comfort.

Ortovox Baselayer Weights

Ortovox produce a range of merino wool baselayers designed to keep you comfortable whatever activity you're wearing it for. To do this They produce produce three separate ranges based on three different weight merino wool fabrics. The 130gsm (grams per square metre) fabric is ideal for high aerobic activities and warmer environments, it is incredibly light and breathable. The 185gsm fabric is warmer and more suited to cold weather hiking and ski touring this is the core of our baselayer range. The 280gsm fabric makes for a wonderfully warm ski-touring or winter mountaineering baselayer which also makes a great midlayer in milder weather.
