This is the bike bottle version of the ATB. Fits all standard bike bottle cages and the mud proof cap always provides clean water. You can rely on the Nalgene All-Terrain Bottle wherever you go. It is great for carbohydrate/energy beverages, easy to use, and simple to clean. Your ATB also fits most waist packs and backpack pockets. The hinged Lexan mud-cap keeps the drinking spout clean, and the slim profile and textured grip give you firm handling in virtually all conditions. The wide neck opening easily accommodates ice cubes for chilled drinks, and the neck configuration works with MSR & most other major water purifiers and filters. The ATB bottle made from Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) is flexible, dishwasher safe (top rack only) and withstands temperatures from -100°C to 80°C.

This is a great size for a bottle, easy to grip, and light LDPE too. The top is easy to open and when closed, stays closed and doesn't leak. Great value for money.
Typical Nalgene quality.
Almost unbreakable, wont leak, doesn't taint the taste of the contents and the cover over the nozzle keeps out crud, so my 1st choice for mtb ride.
Simple solution to drinking from a bike bottle without getting a mouthfull of whatever you've just ridden through. Easy to use. Just flick open the lid and you have a clean mouthpiece to drink from. When you close the lid it also closes the mouthpiece so no leaks.
I've been using these for a couple of years on my mountain and road bikes and they are the best bottles I have found for keeping the drinking nozzles mud and dust free. The hinge on one of the caps on one of my bottles broke, but I've not found any better and so I continue to buy these. So if you like your liquid refreshment grit and slurry free (there's plenty of horse and cattle poop on the roads I ride on)then I can recommend these bottles; or more specifically their caps, which are easy to flip open and shut while riding along.
Just what I was looking for. I bought these bottles for the Kielder 100 MTB race and I didn't fancy 12 hours with a Camelbak on. So I needed water bottles with a cover to keep the crud off. These bottles are ideal with the flip cover which worked well when trying to remove and replace with my teeth whilst hanging on!
Good size too - big enough to be useful but not too big to be unstable in your cage.
We now have three of these Nalgene All Terrain bottles in our household. The most recent one - purchased from Facewest - was bought for use by me on my commuter bike, the others are used for trekking. For on-the-go drinking they are much more practical than the rigid Lexan type Nalgene bottles. They are slim (& so fit into rucksack pockets easily), squeezy and indestructible. The only downside I have found (and hence only 4 stars) is that in order to prevent the bottle from dripping around the neck, you need to do the top up really tight. It would be better if they incorporated a soft O-ring type of seal.
I would still very much recommend this product though.
