I purchased this chalk ball for indoor climbing. It was my first refill so I'm no expert but I found the ball to be very good. It carries the chalk well, doesn't leak like the one my chalk bag came with and is well priced.
The chalk is of good quality and provides an good cover. It's quite fine, which I like. Before I got my chalk bag I hired chalk from my local climbing centre and often found the stuff they supplied to be rather large and grainy. This covers the hand better.

This is the first chalk ball that I have bought and have been satisfied with it since. As said in the description the chalk ball gives out a small amount of chalk which is just the right amount for your next push. It also takes any moisture out of your hands which is an added bonus and provides that noticeable help. I would recommend this especially for new climbers.

It seems picky to have anything bad to say about chalk but it doesn't last as long as the wild country chalk balls and is a little to fine for my liking. I wont be purchasing it again, but its a personal preference rather than a problem with the product.
