Facewest ratings
Freeride:
We give this 3 stars. Will work well in soft conditions, but maybe a bit too light for full on ripping in mixed snow.
Backcountry:
5 stars. Great soft snow performance. An amazingly light ski for it's width. It will perform very well in soft snow, and be light on the climbs. A great tool for getting to and descending those far away powder fields. It's limitation will be that it's light weight will hinder it's hard-pack ability.
Touring:
4 stars. If you want a fat ski that can tour, this is ideal.
Facewest Verdict:
An ideal backcountry powder ski.

Movement Pariah Review
Reviewer: MARK FERBRACHE, ST SAVIOURS (23-3-2012)
I combined these skis with the Dynafit ST Radical bindings. They do the job on piste put that is not their forte. Despite their lightweight they are stiff enough to cope with a wide range of conditions including the crud. When you have carried them up the hill you appreciate their light weight and when you ski them back down in the soft stuff you will never want to trade them in.

Movement Pariah Review
Reviewer: Benjamin Morgan, London (2-2-2012)
I have held off writing this review before I got the chance to test the Pariahs out in varying conditions.
Touring - Firstly, these skis are LIGHT. That's always my reaction when I (or anyone else) pick them up. I use them in combination with a Marker F12 and for the uphill they are just perfect. I've used these skis in Scotland, where they stayed strapped to my pack for the majority of the trip while climbing a few gulleys and toured on some hard pack. Additionally I've used them in the snow packed French Alps.
Downhill - On Piste hard pack you can certainly feel that they are a light ski but they are very stiff and there is minimal flapping around. After a couple of runs I really didn't feel there was much compromise (apart from a a lack of speed on the flat).
In deep powder the Pariahs seem to be in their element with the width really allowing for great flotation. However once the powder is tracked and maybe harder after a few cold nights you might certainly wish for a heavier ski to held you shred through the crud.
All in all a great ski from the movement adventure range.
