The Mountain Equipment Womens Micro Zip T is the perfect mid layer for those colder days, combined with a shell and baselayer you will have the classic layering system for the hills and mountains.
Made from light and soft Polartec 100 microfleece, the cut allows for freedom of movement whether you are skiing, climbing or walking. If the weather starts to warm up the deep front zip allows for a good level of venting allowing you to cool down.

I bought for my wife, she found it ideal to wear on an evening on a recent walking trip in N W Scotland when the air started to chill down but wasn't quite cold enough to need a heavier fleece. The fit is sized accurately and definitely for a woman's build with no rubbing from seams or labels. A useful top for those in between temperatures when everything else seems either too warm, or not warm enough.
Highly recommended.
