The Mountain Equipment Womens Firefox Jacket is a minimalist shell for those that are moving quickly in the mountains and require a packable and extremely breathable barrier against the harshest of weather. An excellent jacket for alpine climbing, ski-touring or adventure racing.

Active Shell is a new super light 3 layer waterproof fabric from Gore that has been designed with the aerobically active person in mind, providing a highly breathable and durable jacket ensuring maximum protection from the wind, rain and snow, offering all this with the minimum of weight and great packability.

The Firefox has an active cut with articulated sleeves enabling excellent freedom of movement. The chest pockets are situated so as to allow a climbing harness to be worn and the mesh pocket bags allow for additional venting along with the underarm pit zips. The fully adjustable Mountain Hood ensures maximum protection and the water resistant front zip along with adjustable cuffs seal the jacket.
