The Mountain Equipment Randonee Glove is a super durable workhorse of a glove designed for hard mountain use in the harshest of conditions. Ideal for alpine climbing and skiing the Randonee is a great all rounder.
The Schoeller Dyskin Extreme softshell fabric will shed snow and all but the worst rain, while the Pittards leather palm provides an excellent grip and a very durable surface for holding axes or poles. Inside a luxurious fibre pile lining is warm and quick drying ensuring all day comfort. The Randonee has a shorter cuff that is secured tightly with a tough Hyperlon adjuster. But the great thing about the Randonee is that if they become soaked they can be wrung out and put back on when some other would be useless.

Great pair of gloves. Bought to use on a trek to Everest Base Camp in March, they have had a good test in -15 Berlin winter! They're very warm, lightweight and water resistant. I bought a size medium and initially thought they might be a little tight, but the pile insulation inside does bed down a little and they fit perfectly after a few wears. I would definitely recommend.

I bought these gloves primarily for skiing. The fingers are quite long but the wrist circumference is quite tight - if you have chubby hands these might not suit you. I am usually a small medium and if you are in between sizes you should go up not down. The wrist arrangement means they go under not over your jacket. They are warmer than I thought - not quite warm enough for cold January days (at least for me, if you are hardy they will be fine) and maybe too warm for Easter, so probably shoulder season. Very dexterous, very good quality for the money. Delivery very prompt. Quality.

Really nice gloves, comfortable, good wind protection, sheds snow, moderate rain as well and breathe suprisingly well. So far I like them.
