The Mountain Equipment Gasherbrum Jacket is ME's next generation expedition insulation. It utilises the most advanced construction techniques and the lightest fabrics to give a jacket which is suitable for the highest Himalayan peaks but which weighs under a kilogram. ME's superlight He30.rs fabric is exceptionally downproof and also extremely light making it a perfect material for a mountaineering jacket. It will shed snow easily but is not waterproof so this is not a jacket for use in damper conditions.

This is the top of the line for fast-and-light mountaineering clothing for use in the greater ranges. If you're putting up big routes in the best of styles then look no further.
