Moon Climbing Bouldering Chalk Bag Review
Reviewer: Annes Lambert, Wigan (8-5-2012)
I ordered this dedicated bouldering, bucket-style chalk bag after my smaller climbing chalk bag kept falling over and spilling on indoor bouldering crash mats. The Moon bouldering chalk bag is plenty big enough to get both hands in and I imagine would easily fit two pairs of hands at a time. The square design means it stays upright, I've never had it fall over. You will need about 200-300g of chalk to sufficiently fill it. The dry-bag style closure makes a very tight seal so no more chalk spills in your pack or car. You could tie some waist cord onto it if needed for longer traverse routes. The external side pocket is handy to keep your boulder brush, keys, coins etc Very pleased with it.

Brilliant chalk bag, though it took a lot of chalk to fill. Seals well, meaning no chalk spillage, a problem I’ve suffered a lot. If I’m climbing a long hairy problem, or the rock is particularly slippy, it attaches to a piece of cord with a little ease. The only problem is that the shape of it sometimes cause it to sag shut, but it doesn't matter much.
