The Montane Minimus Pant are a superb lightweight waterproof over-trouser that weigh next to nothing yet provide complete protection from the elements. They pack down to the size of an apple and can be whipped out and quickly put on thanks to their knee length zips and elasticated draw cord at the hem.

Pertex Shield combines a tightly woven face fabric with Pertex's proprietary polyurethane film laminate. This produces a waterproof and breathable fabric that is highly durable. The internal laminate has good hydrophilic properties that improve comfort by reducing any internal condensation.

The Minimus pants allow for a good range of movement due to the articulated cut around the knee and tailored upper rear and front thighs. Any loose fabric around the calf can be cinched with Velcro tabs to prevent flapping in windy conditions and make the pant ideal for mountain bike sections on adventure races.
