The Marmot Womens Vapor Trail ½ Zip is a superb lightweight softshell that breathes fantastically well, yet provides protection from the weather where you need it most. It's styled for the active women that requires fit and flexibility and works particularly well for the climber and mountain walker who are carrying backpacks.
The Vapor Trail is constructed from two soft shell fabrics. On the front of the body and sleeves the fabric is windproof and less breathable, providing warmth and protection. The side panels and back are a breathable fabric, allowing you to keep a stable temperature and shift unwanted moisture away from your body. This is particularly good if you're carrying a heavy pack and are working hard. This softshell is unusual in that it has a short chest zip, but this does allow for additional venting and for the Vapor Trail to also be used as a mid-layer when conditions are really cold.
