The Marmot Womens ROM Jacket is a Gore Windstopper soft shell designed for cold windy conditions. The stretchy m2 softshell panels under the arms allow for a superb Range Of Motion for even the toughest of climbing contortions. The m2 side panels also aid breathability which is especially good when the ROM needs to be combined with a hardshell.
Gore Windstopper is one of the most weatherproof softshell fabrics going. It is a membrane fabric which means that you do lose some breathability and it might get warm on the walk in but when you're 6 pitches up a north facing crag and the breeze starts to picks up the benefits will quickly become obvious.
