The Marmot Womens Powerstretch Glove is a versatile and popular womens liner glove which also makes a great glove for milder conditions and high aerobic-activities like running and ski-touring.
Power Stretch material ensures that this glove offers dexterity second to none - ideal for fiddling in gear or working with map and compass. The fabric also resists the wind. The weatherproofing and dexterity make this a great improvement over fleece gloves for mountaineering and walking in cool conditions; and makes for a superb liner if the temperature drops.

Marmot Womens Powerstretch Glove Review
Reviewer: Adriano Nicastro, Bagnoli Irpino (6-3-2012)
I think that these gloves have an excellent quality/price ratio. I bought two pairs of gloves, one for me and one for my girlfriend, both of size S; the circumference of my hand is 7.5 inch and I can wear both pairs, in fact, they are very elastics. I can not say that these are gloves for hard jobs or for climbing because they are not reinforced. I have used them for 3 weeks, every day, at a temperature between 3 ° C and 10 degrees and I can say that they are great gloves daily to protect from cold. One flaw: they are prone to piling. Great service Facewest.

Have had them for over a year now. Make a nice warm inner glove to wear under mitts when its very cold (-20C) in Norway or the Alps. Good for using as a glove when it's cold but you need dexterity such as using a camera, phone, eating lunch or setting up rope systems . Much better than some other brands of power stretch gloves because the little patches on the main fingers stop them wearing out so quickly. Fast drying and have a good adequately long cuff. Also good as a pair of gloves for warm summer days that can turn a bit cool. I also tend to use mine on mountain marathons.

Marmot Powerstretch Glove Review

I purchased these gloves for a photography-based trip to Copenhagen and Stockholm in December. They worked terrifically well. They're a snug, a close fit but stretch slightly. The grips on thumb, first and second finger tips allow for good dexterity, certainly enough to operate a large DSLR, lens swapping, etc. I wore a pair of very thin, cheap baselayer gloves underneath these gloves for additional warmth. I've long hands but the cuffs are fairly long, so they don't feel too short on your wrists. Temperatures in Scandinavia were typically between -5 and 5: at the coldest points the gloves were just about warm enough if you kept moving, but if you're planning on extended exposure to zero or sub-zero temperatures then you'll likely need something warmer.

Excellent pair of gloves that give superb protection against all but the harshest of conditions, while proving tremendously practical. I didn't want bulky gloves and these are perfect for me. I can type a text message on my phone without too much hassle (they obviously won't work on touch screens that require the electro-static contact from your skin though), drive, operate a camera and pretty much anything else I need to do.
I would thoroughly recommend these to anyone who wants a simple, comfortable and practical pair of warm gloves for the winter months. They look good too.

I recently bought The Marmot Powerstretch Gloves to take on a weekends walking in the lakes and I'm glad I did, the temperature was between 3-8 and the gloves did a good job of keeping the biting winds off my hands. I don't like bulky gloves so for me these where great!
Snug fitting but not restrictive, really soft cosy gloves and still allowing you to operate your camera/GPS etc.
I do think that had the temperature dropped any further I would have had to resort to the big thermals but other than that a great gloves.
