The Marmot Tempo is a lightweight softshell designed for high-aerobic activities in mild, dry weather. It sits firmly at the breathable end of the softshell spectrum and offers almost no protection from the rain, but is fully windproof and comfortable in all dry conditions.

Because of it's low weight and breathability the Tempo is ideal worn as a single layer for running and mountain biking or as a midlayer for walkers and climbers. It features a zippered chest pocket as well as twin handwarmer pockets with headphone port making it perfect for those who like their tunes available on the move.

Marmot Tempo Jacket Features:

  • Angel-Wing Movement
  • Lycra-bond cuffs
  • Marmot M3 softshell
  • Reflective logos
  • Reflective zip tape
  • Zippered Chest Pocket
  • Zippered handwarmer pockets

Reviewer: Adriano Nicastro, Bagnoli Irpino   (29-2-2012)

Wow, this jacket is very breathable: I used it combined with a base layer during a snow-shoeing of 4 hours, in Italy, at 4 degrees C°, and I never got hot and my skin was dry. The sweat was ejected out very easily. But the thing that fascinated me was that it did not smell of sweat.

However, it does not resist to the wind as a M2 (for example the Marmot ROM), but it is normal because the Tempo is M3 (best property:breathability); it is not resistant to rain. I used it to go by bike and is fantastic. I am 35-inch chest and a size S is perfect. Great service Facewest.
