The Marmot Trail Wind Hoody is a great lightweight weather resistant shell to have in your pack for those summer days in the hills. It packs away neatly into it's own pocket and if the wind picks up or there's light rain just throw this on for good resistance. It's excellent breathability and venting ensures you wont get warm and makes it an ideal jacket for activity.

Made from a lightweight Ripstop Polyester that has DWR water repellent finish. The active under arm venting ensures that you will stay cool and the fixed hood is easily pulled on and adjusted to keep all but the worst weather out.

An excellent upgrade to the old Marmot Motion jacket. Super lightweight and weather proof. The hood is useful but be aware that this is more showerproof than storm proof and is best suited for 3 season use in milder climates. An excellent choice if you do not require the insulation of the DriClime windshirt but require the flexibility of a hood. With a merino baselayer underneath I felt warm and protected on a damp blustery day on the hills - an versatile lightweight choice. These pair well with the Marmot Trail Pants for intensive outdoors activities.
