Marmot Precip Full Zip Pant

The Marmot Precip Full Zip Pant are a lightweight waterproof over-trouser that have a great full length water resistant zip for easy entry and exit. The Precip pant packs down nice and small and are really handy to have in your pack should the weather take a turn for the worse.
Made with Precip Dry Touch Technology - Marmot's proprietary PU coating technology specially engineered for unlined garments with excellent durability. A special layer next to the skin reduces condensation and the sticky clammy feel of most coatings.
Although designed as rainwear the Precip pants are compatible with ski boots and a great lightweight backup shell for ski touring and lightweight missions especially when combined with softshell pants.

Bought for back country ski trip in Norway. Lightweight and easy to pack away. I wore them over soft shells in a particularly bad snow storm, and was bone dry afterwards, so was very happy with them. That was until I spent a day in Snowdonia with them. High winds and torrential rain led to water getting through the leg zips, leaving me quite wet. Great for a light drizzle, but not for really foul weather.

Excellent waterproof trouser and a perfect fit for me (short leg). I like the look of the zips down the side. A great price too. Cheapest I could find them anywhere else was for £65. A quality trouser which look good on. Recommended.
