The Marmot Powerstretch Vest combines warmth and freedom of movement using Polartec's Powerstretch fabric. It's four way stretch provides close fitting comfort, and it's closer weave with flat exterior finish, provides a greater level of wind resistance over regular fleece.
The Powerstretch Vest can be carried as an incredibly light midlayer for throwing on over a baselayer for early starts or for extra warmth when working hard. Vests also make for an excellent single layer for climbing and mountaineering, and you'll appreciate the unrivalled freedom of movement and the warmth it provides for very low weight.

Marmot Powerstretch Vest Review
Reviewer: Christian Humphrey, Egham (17-1-2012)
So good, I was bought it twice!
Having received this as a gift, it immediately became a favourite. When it was accidentally misplaced, I asked for it as a gift again! Just incredibly warm for what it is - like putting on a radiator, and really comfortable. As described, the fit is snug, so only really useful for putting on top of a base layer.
I'm generally a warm/hot person, so need light weight options in winter and this is a great option to have, whether ski touring or sitting at home...
