The Marmot Powerstretch ¾ Pant is a warm fleece that allows for really good non-restrictive movement. Best worn as a midlayer the ¾ length ensures they can be worn with ski boots making them a ideal choice for long ski tours or really cold days on the piste.

Polartec Power Stretch fabric is principally a four way stretch fabric that hugs the body and is made of two layers. The outer durable layer has a smooth finish and offers good wind resistance, while the soft inner layer wicks moisture quickly keeping you dry and warm. The great thing about Power stretch is that it can be worn as a super warm baselayer, as a insulating midlayer or as a wind resistant outer layer.

It's worth remembering that keeping your groin and knees warm is a great way of combating the numb feet which can be a feature of really cold weather days as these are the places in your legs where your blood's closest to the surface of your skin and so the places where you lose the most heat.
