The Marmot Pounder bags are so called because the original pounder bag weighed just that. However, because we have the pound sterling and weigh things in grams the 454 grammer just didn't have the same ring. The Marmot Pounder bags are synthetically insulated summer sleeping bags. Light, durable, easy to wash and care for make the pounders great for Scouts and guides, festivals and summer only car campers.
The Marmot Pounder Plus sleeping bag is the heavier version of the classic pounder (see related products below). Extra insulation make this a bag good to just below zero rather than just above. A good 2 or 3 season bag for UK use.
