The Marmot Glade Mitt is an insulated waterproof mitt providing weather protection and warmth at a very reasonable price ideal for skiing and mountain walking in all but the very worst conditions.
The DriClime lining provides excellent wicking properties and provides additional warmth and comfort. The MemBrain waterproof insert is very breathable allowing moisture to escape the glove. The Glade Mitt is secured with a hem cord around the gauntlet. The glove also features a warmer pocket where you can insert a heat pad for additional warmth, particularly good if you suffer from really cold hands.

I have worn the mitts for the first time today. They are very good, being fully waterproof, despite the slushy snow of the thaw of spring in the Japanese mountains. I'm pleased to climb using proper mountaineering gloves, instead of the skiing gloves I've been using.
This is not a criticism, but I think an improved product would be sniper mitts, to make it easier to hold an ice-axe. An option of the same product without the fleecy lining would also be good.
The product arrived very promptly. Very good value as well.
