The Marmot Glade glove is an insulated waterproof glove providing weather protection and warmth at a very reasonable price ideal for skiing and mountain walking in all but the very worst conditions.
The DriClime lining provides excellent wicking properties and provides additional warmth and comfort. The MemBrain waterproof insert is very breathable allowing moisture to escape the glove. The Glade Glove is secured with a hem cord around the gauntlet. The glove also features a warmer pocket where you can insert a heat pad for additional warmth, particularly good if you suffer from really cold hands.

Marmot Glade Glove Review
Reviewer: Matt Dutton, Norton canes (21-3-2012)
This is a great glove but it doesn't quite come up to the standard of Mountain Equipment. I think this glove is suited to backpackers and hikers, instead of mountaineers. The fit is great and the waterproof membrane holds its own (dipped in the sink for 15 mins!), but the material feels a little more flimsy compared to the mountain equipment material on my other gloves.
However it is a really warm glove, even has little pockets on the tops so you can shove a hand warmer in, and the thumb box is a very short furry material, designed for you to wipe your nose on!! They really have thought of everything with this glove. It's a middle weight glove that doesn't do anything other than what it says on the tin....completely versatile, and superb value for money, and multifunctional, which is brilliant. It's an ideal second pair to Stowe away in your backpack should you need them.

Marmot Glade Glove Review

The gloves are suitable for mid winter skiing or those who suffer particularly cold hands, but would be too hot for the spring time. I use these gloves when examining snow pits which involves my hands being in contact with the snow during a period of relative inactivity. Draw cords work well preventing snow from entering the glove around the wrist. For most skiers these gloves will last a season or two but if you are an instructor or you have to help others putting on skis beware, the material is easily ripped by ski edges sliding across the glove. I found this to my cost with a similar pair of gloves.
