Very wonderful piece of kit

Seriously, this is the best windproof water-resistant softshell I have ever owned. I never leave my home without it. An excellent technical garment for biking, skiing or hiking. AWESOME!

This is a great piece of kit for running or biking. It's much more comfortable to wear than my Event waterproof and breathes better too. The thin fleecy lining is nice to touch and means you can wear it on its own if its a breezy mildish day. If its colder you just need to add a base layer underneath.

Amazingly versatile jacket and I never leave home without it. Extremely comfortable and well suited for high anaerobic activities.
I wear mine for trail running and mountain biking (along with the Marmot Trail pant) Consider this instead of a softshell jacket if you require moderate wind protection as the low bulk and high comfort will reward you. Mine is getting a little worn after 2 years of regular use. Excellent value and will be definitely buying another one.

This is genius, easily the most worn item in my wardrobe, for running, walking, cycling, anything really. Extremely well made too, have worn mine solidly for 3 years and still looks and feels exactly the same.

Used for 12 month in the Alps and the Pyreneans during winter, spring and summer This is probably the most versatile piece of gear I own. I always have it in my pack whatever the season. I use it in different ways, as a light softshell during summer or as mid layer over a base layer or a fleece during winter, depending on the temperature. It really protects against the wind and is a very effective a warm layer. It's as simple as that: light, effective, durable, breathable, fast drying and packable. A must have for mountaineering and hill walking.

I wanted a mid-layer for a skiing holiday and after reading Stuart's clothing guide opted for this. If I was disappointed in any way it was because it was too warm.
I had an Ortovox Merino top under it and an Oxbow ski jacket over the top. On two days I wore it unzipped and on one day I had to take it off but the small packed down size meant it fitted easily into my already full small day sack.
One morning I wore it for digging the car out of the snow whilst it rained and very quickly built up heat. The rain, although it appeared to soak the outer layer didn't go though and once out of the rain it dried very quickly. I look forward to using it when cycling.

I purchased this for winter running on the beach in St Andrews, which is generally cold, sometimes wet, and almost always windy.
I've started running in the mornings, before the day has had a chance to warm up. This garment is brilliant: it has so far kept me warm and toasty, but breathes really well. This means that you don't freeze when you stop.
Very lightweight, looks quite good too. No hood, but this isn't a problem for the purpose. Good stuff.
