Reviewer: Jeff, Aviemore, Scotland

Outstanding performance. Camped solo for 2 nights up the Cairngorms National Park (Scotland), December 3, 4, 5, at an altitude of 1,200m, close to Ben MacDhui. Temperature of -9C, no problem. Incredible humidity (no tent, just an OR Alpine Bivy, guaranteed condensation), the Mammut is really resistant to water.

Pros: reasonably priced, Super warm, super dry, as in couldn't tell I was in a hole dug 2 feet of snow deep in the windiest place in the UK.

Cons: and also super heavy and bulky, but hey, it is a synthetic, with a down sleeping bag there is no way I could have stayed warm with all that humidity

Amazing value, really impressed. If you leave behind everything except the survival essentials, the overall weight is reasonable.
