The Mammut Cartridge Refillable 207 Bar Alu is a user refillable cylinder compatible with all Mammut Avalanche Airbags and the Snowpulse 2.0 systems. The cartridge is alumiunium, with pressure gauge and is filled with compressed air to 3000psi or 207 Bar.
The User refillable cartridges are aimed at those skiing in North America where airline restrictions prevent travel with full cylinders as we do in the EU (and most of the rest of the world). So airbag owners arrive at destination with empty cylinders and need them filled quickly and cheaply. By using a paintball gun fitting, this cylinder can be filled by any paintball station or scuba shop with adapter, of which there are many.
This cylinder is the same fitting as the BCA Float system airbags so anybody on the BCA list can fill a Mammut cyclinder. Please see BCA's website for a comprehensive list.
