The Mammut Broad Peak Hoody is an ultralight down jacket ideal for ski tourers and alpinists for who weight and pack size are all important. The Hoody features 125g of 750+ fill power down which provides enough warmth for cold belays and early alpine starts. The outer of the Broad Peak Hoody is Pertex Quantum, one of the lightest fabrics available, which provides wind resistance and has a DWR treatment to protect from snow and spindrift. Add in a fixed, down filled hood and handwarmer pockets and you have a fantastically weatherproof garment. This is a fantastically versatile choice for everyone from mountaineers to adventure racers.

Nice jacket, light, warm, and just long enough (to cover your bits) but has a two way zip for belaying. This will pack into its chest pocket (but I think I will use a stuff sack). The hood is not helmet compatible but this is not a big issue for me as I want it for winter hut use and summer bivying.
