The Mammut Ambler Hooded Jacket is a lightweight expedition jacket which uses the highest quality goose down to achieve an impressively low weight. This jacket is designed for the rigours of altitude and polar exploration and so as you would expect it contains a generous filling of 300g of 800+ fill down and utilises a box-wall construction to eliminated cold spots.
The Ambler is constructed from a soft polyester fabric which is super comfortable against the skin and also contains a DWR treatment to make it water resistant. Combine this with a fixed, fully adjustable hood and you have a jacket which will keep out even the most extreme snow and wind.
