I bought this facewest and returned it for a refund a few months ago. The reason I returned it was the non stick interior of the pot was coming off I go-ogled this issue and it is quite a common problem. Which made me nervous about eating or drinking water or food from this pan as it would micro particles of the non stick material in the food. other than that issue it is a very well made pot the handle disconnects so you can use one handle with any of these pots saving weight, the strainer lid fits really snugly. and it is a good size for one pot meals ,If MSR could sort the non stick finish on the inside of the pot I would buy one again I was pleased when facewest gave me a full refund

This pot is only just big enough to make my meals when I take it camping, so it's definitely not big enough to make very large meals or for two people to share simultaneously. It seems to spread heat fairly evenly, even on a really hot trangia flame. (other pans have burnt in certain spots in the past) The draining hole in the lid is not only useful for easy draining, but for convenient checking on whether your water is boiling or not at a quick glance. The handle folds right round and into the pan which makes packing it much easier, but because of the way it sits inside the pan it's hard to store anything else inside it as well. My only negative is that I scratched the coating far too easily, and I never had to worry about doing that with my old stainless steel pans. Still, a very good pan for all but the most fussy!
