MSR Biodegradable Packsoap Review
Reviewer: Julia Scott, Lee Moor, Plymouth (20-9-2010)
I bought one bottle of this for a recent three week trip to Borneo. I was doing lots of travelling, so kept my bag light and chose to wash my clothes on a regular basis. I've previously used the Lifesystems all purpose soap but thought I'd give this ago.
The bottle is a nice size and there were no leaks, despite it going on seven flights, bus journeys and long boat journeys. You need a tiny bit to do washing and it lathers up a treat! All my washing smelt clean and fresh (just what you need after a hot and sticky jungle trek!) but with no obvious perfume smell - which is good.
Despite washing all my clothes on a regular basis I still came home with about a third of the bottle full. I am really impressed with this product and would buy it in preference to the Lifesystems one. I liked the dropping dispenser top, as it allowed you to easily control how much came out. The Lifesystems one can be a bit too lively! Well done MSR!
