The MSR Lightning Snowshoe Tail is a modular flotation device that enables you to add an extra 12.7cm to your Lightening Ascent snowshoe or any of the shoes using MSR's 360° Traction Frames.

This extention to your snowshoe provides stability on soft powder making crossing a lot easier, and if you're touring with a heavy pack the Lightning Tails provide a firm and supportive foot placement every step of the way. The Lightning tails are small and light enough to be packed away when not in use allowing you more agility in packed firmer conditions.
