Mint pot set. Purchased this set for hiking for two, maybe three people. Great versatility, with one smaller pot suitable for smaller meals, and the larger pot great for when you are a bit hungry and looking to cook a bit more.

On the whole great quality, however the gripping handle was a bit bent (soft aluminium?), but a wee bit of bending it came out good as new. I presume this occurred during shipping?

Purchased this kit after decisions: steel, titanium or aluminium. I chose steel. This kit more durable than aluminium, but it weights about 770g (more than titanium or aluminium). My MSR XGK fits inside (though I prefer to keep some food). 600 ml MSR bottle won't fit inside. Cooking inside - nothing special or bad, heats good, easy to clean. Have two pots and one lid plate which also can be used for frying and it fits both pots. Very good for outdoor use - if you want less weight only take one pot (but it's depends on individual journey needs).

I bought this item as one of my first pieces of gear when I started backpacking for the first time. I have personally found stainless steel cookware to be too heavy for backpacking and have recently converted to titanium.

For the correct application, however, stainless steel is much more durable and cost effective where the weight is not much of an issue. The cookware is not too thick or thin and MSR has nicely rolled the edges. This makes the pots resist deforming into odd oval shapes and it handles securely with the PanHandler.

One flaw is that if the pans are heavy with water and you use the PanHandler to hold it, the PanHandler's two front 'teeth' can bend. With time, the pressure required to maintain a particular hold increases. The 'teeth', however can easily be bent back with pliers.

The lid can double as a pan. The stuff sack is half mesh which is great if your cookware is wet and needs drying.

I ordered recently this set of pots, because itís time for some special multi-day ascents. I always like the way my friends in FACEWEST are packaging my orders! Really strong packages, for miles of transfer!

This set of pots, is suitable to melt big quantities of snow, during winter adventures. Easy cleaning and well made handle. Suitable for 2-3 people, but be careful, itís better to use stoves with big base, to avoid the danger of dropping (but if you use a stove with small base, itís better to hold the pot, while cooking). Big advantage, you can put inside the pots not only the gas cylinder and stove, but also amounts of food.

I ordered this 2 pot set and it arrived very promptly from Face West. The pots are very well made, strong enough to take the usual battering camping gear endures but light enough to take everywhere with you. The lid fits both pans very securely and doubles as a solid plate. The removable handle is handy as it minimises the potential "trip" hazard associated with permanent pot handles but attaches very securely to each pot and the plate as well. The solid stainless is easy to clean too.

The set also comes with a close fitting mesh bag which keeps everything together neatly. When the bigger pot is full and sitting on top of the MSR pocket rocket stove it is a bit top heavy, however I usually dig a small hole to "house" the base of the gas canister which helps to stabilise the whole lot! Overall a highly recommended 2 pot set.

I bought these pots around 2 years ago, and have used them on many an occation. Having the 2 pots and 1 lid makes this set vary versatile, When hiking by myself I usually take the lid and one pot, but have also used this set to cater for 4.

The set is fairly lightweight and the multiple uses of the lid save space; the lid can be used as a plate, a lid for either pot or a saucepan in its own right. In addition, the lid can be placed either way up on the pots, this means it can be used to heat water whilst acting as a lid. The handle is lightweight and securely fits all 3 parts.

Bought these to replace a good old set, parts of which went walkabout. Had a look at the cheaper options on the market from popular brands and in the end spent the extra (in the stainless price range anyway) on these and they've been brilliant. The cheaper ones burn too easily (when borrowing from friends), if you get the cheaper non-stick ones the non-stick comes off and they're flimsy. These are simple yet light and strong. Plus they actually pour -simple things... Plus the lid has numerous uses. Very versatile.

These cooking pots have been round the world with me over the past few years and have been amazing.
They are of a good size for two people but I have cooked a meal for 5 people with them on occasions with little problem.
The lid fits beautify on top of both pans ,as well as being a valuable pan and chopping board by its self.
The pans are of an appropriate weight, not being too light and thin leading to everything burning. Even when the inevitable cooking disaster occurs they clean well.
They come with an invaluable bag to keep them together and the handle works well.
Despite a few dints they mine are still going strong Ė highly recommend for wild camping, mountain huts and even airport carparks!
