The Jetboil 1.5L Cooking Pot is the perfect addition to any of Jetboil's Personal Cooking Systems. It allows you to cook with control for either yourself or a small group and is an ideal camp pan.
Please note: The Cooking Pot requires the Jetboil Pot Support. The FluxRing ensures excellent gas efficiency making your gas last longer and saving you money. A great addition to any camping kit.
It is not compatible with the Helios or Joule systems.

A “luxury” item as it simply allows the jetboil to prepare a slightly more varied menu. It appears durable and is extremely light. It will allow me to prepare eggs for breakfast when camping and so in that sense is priceless!
Excellent - allows you to use the Jetboil if there are two of you - it all packs away (a bit rattley) in the pot and you have a plate/bowl for each of you.
I tend to go fairly minimalist and lightweight in my camping - using a bivi bag instead of tent, packing everything for a couple of days into a 33L Osprey Talon. Yep, I'm one of those obsessive who trims their toothbrush down to save weight and space! After my Coleman F1 Ultralite corroded and died I was looking for a new compact and lightweight cooking solution. I'd seen the Jetboil Personal Cooking System (PCS) in use and had heard good things about them. Looking into the PCS I discovered Jetboil's Group Cooking System (GCS). In the end I ordered the GCS plus the spare PCS cup, effectively giving me the flexibility of having both systems. If you already have the PCS Id strongly recommend this pan to expand your options.
The burner, pan supports, canister stabiliser, and a fuel canister inside the 1.5L pot. It doesn't pack as snugly as the PCS. The items can rattle about and I was a little concerned out the pan support banging around and scratching the inside of the pot. I solved this by packing the extra space out with a cut down washing up sponge, a little 15ml bottle of washing up detergent and a bar towel I use to dry up with. This prevented any annoying rattle or scratches, and made best use of the space.
The flux ring (those grills on the bottom of the pan) make it very efficient and fast. In order to stand it on the burner that comes with the PCS you will need the pan supports. Otherwise it won't sit on the burner. Other stoves should work provided the arms don't radiate more than 6cm. More than that and they won't fit inside the flux ring. One warning, don't leave it unattended. It reaches a boil very quickly and is fierce. If you leave your food without stirring it you risk it burning at the bottom.
Finally, if like me you lend it to your girlfriend - explain very clearly that you have to remove the plastic bottom cover before putting it on the burner. Otherwise they come home sheepishly explaining why the bottom cover has a hole melted in it.
